New London, Missouri -- Lena Fae Linnenburger, 81, of New London, MO, passed away at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday (Sept. 4, 2013) in her daughter's home, in Santee, CA. Lena was born July 26, 1932, in Wamac, IL., to Mr. David Benjamin and Edna Irene (Ring) Daughtery. Lena was married to Paul H. Linnenburger on January 11, 1949, in Centralia, IL. She had been employed as a Manager at the San Diego County Assessor's Office for 10 years. She retired from that establishment in 1990. New London, Missouri -- Lena Fae Linnenburger, 81, of New London, MO, passed away at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday (Sept. 4, 2013) in her daughter's home, in Santee, CA.

Lena was born July 26, 1932, in Wamac, IL., to Mr. David Benjamin and Edna Irene (Ring) Daughtery. Lena was married to Paul H. Linnenburger on January 11, 1949, in Centralia, IL. She had been employed as a Manager at the San Diego County Assessor's Office for 10 years. She retired from that establishment in 1990. Lena was a member of St John Lutheran Church in Hannibal, Missouri since 1990.

Survivors include Lena's husband Paul H. Linnenburger Sr., her daughter, Donna Leigh (Timothy) Montgomery; and sons, Kenneth R. (Mary Ann) of Santee, CA, Lawrence D. "Larry" of Oceano, CA and, Paul H. Jr. of Boise, ID, Nine Grandchildren: Trisha (Scott) Cunningham, Trina Montgomery, Michelle (Al) Coley, Ashtynne Montgomery, and Timothy James "T.J." Montgomery, Janice Linnenburger, Mark Linnenburger, Ashley and William "Billy" Linnenburger. Six Great-Grandchildren: Tyler, Bailey, Jacob, Adilyn Marie Cunningham all of El Segundo, CA, Isleigh and Josiah Montgomery of Torrance, CA. Lena loved being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Two sisters, Sharon Kay (Sonny) Leasman of Galva, IL, and Sarah Jane Madson of Murrieta Springs, CA, and several nieces and nephews, other family members and many friends.

Lena was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers; David, Ronald, Maxie, Richard and James Daughtery; Six sisters; Pearl, Esther, Noreta, Norma, Susan and Barbara.

VISITATION: 1:00 - 2:30 pm Saturday, September 7, 2013, at Conrad Mortuary, Lemon Grove, CA.
SERVICES: 2:30 pm Saturday September 7, 2013, at Conrad Mortuary, in Lemon Grove, CA. with the Rev. Dr. Richard Burkey conducting a Memorial Service.

VISITATION: 6:00 – 8:00 pm Friday, September, 13, 2013, at James O'Donnell Funeral Home, Hannibal, MO.
SERVICES: 10:00 am Saturday, September 14, 2013, at James O'Donnell Funeral Home, in Hannibal, MO., with the Rev. Michael W. Stoerger conducting. Burial will be in Grand View Burial Park, in Hannibal, MO.
