The Bergesons lived just one house down from me in Sycamore. They had a very nice basket along with a nice paved area in front of it. It seemed sometimes almost all of the Sycamore basketball team was there with some really good games! John was gone a lot but Bill and Lenore were usually in attendance and often joined in the game. I should mention that Lenore was NEVER refered to by that name but by "Tumpie", a nickname her Grandma gave her. In all the time I was around those kids, I do not ever remember Tumpie being anything but a very pretty young woman with a warm and genuine smile. Doesn't seem the world will be quite the same without her.

I remember Lenore very well. She was a soft spoken kind girl. I am so very sorry for the family.
