I have so many fond memories of my Uncle Leo. I always admired him in his Navy uniform. I remember having long conversations about what life was like on a ship, and I even aspired to be the first woman Navy band director, although after learning I would have to go through basic training, I changed my mind! When he moved to Arizona, that was a bonus, because I could see him more often. He was so loving and caring, and always encouraging. His love for God grew stronger every year, and he was never shy to share his knowledge of the Bible. I am so happy that he is no longer suffering and is now in Heaven with the Lord. He will forever hold a special place in my heart.
