Born May 24, 1926, Leo peacefully passed away on Friday October 12, 2012 at Banwell Gardens at the age of 86. Son of the late Clara Agnes Beattie and Daniel Webster Johnson, father of Robin and the late Thomas. Brother to George (Jo-Anne), Raymond (Faye) and Charles, B.C. Predeceased by brothers Joseph and William. Leo will be sadly missed by his brothers, his nephew Raymond and Patti Johnson and Michael and Marie Johnson as well as many nieces and nephews. Leo spent many years at CKLW.TV as lighting director. His love of the circus prompted him to form a trapeze act. He performed at many venues in Essex County and Windsor. Motorcycles...

Cremation has taken place. All friends and family are invited to Walter D. Kelly Life Celebration Centre, 1969 Wyandotte St. East Windsor on Tuesday October 16, 2012 from 7pm until 9pm. A Windsor Veterans Memorial Service to honour Leo's contribution to his country will occur at 7:30pm, followed by a Memorial Service at 8pm, Scott Dakin of Celebrating Life (celebratingalife.ca) to officiate. Donations in memory and in lieu of flowers may be made to the Downtown Mission of Windsor.
