LEONARD "TATA" PACHECO
Leonard Pacheco, 91 of Kansas City, KS died on May 9, 2017 at his home. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 15th at the McGilley Midtown Chapel, 20 W. Linwood Blvd, Kansas City, MO Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. on Monday at the chapel. Entombment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, Kansas City, KS.
Leonard was born November 6, 1925 in Atchison, KS to Manuel and Sara (Magallones) Pacheco. To this union five other children were born; Pete, Ruth, Jesse, John and Sam. Leonard worked his early years for the Railroad and married Christina Delgado December 31, 1945. To this union five children were born; Tony, Leonard, Martha, Steven and Teresa. He worked for the Kansas City, KS Ice House before the 1951 flood when he moved his family to the Westside. In 1952, he went to work for Coca-Cola as a driver and retired 40 years later 1992, driving the Downtown Kansas City route. The family moved to the Rosedale area in 1954. He was preceded in death by wife of 70 years, Christina March 7, 2016; his son, Tony October 7, 2005, and three brothers, Pete, Jesse and Johnny; his parents, Manuel and Sara and stepmother Josie. Leonard is survived by his four children, Leonard Pacheco, Martha Pacheco Shultz, Steve Pacheco and Teresa Dominguez; a brother, Sam; a sister, Ruth; three half-brothers, Manuel, David and Phillip; 15 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and their families. We just hope that all the Pacheco loved ones
now that if a family we are a shoulder to talk to we are here to talk. Just found out today that your father had passed he was a great man and now he's back with his beautiful wife now both together again. They will be in our pray's God Bless them both and God Bless there family.
