Leonard Vess Neill 87, of Grants Pass passed away January 21, 2018 at Asante Three Rivers Hospital.
Leonard was born in Shannon Texas on May 3, 1930 to Jude and Mamie Neill. Following high school
Leonard joined the Army. He then moved to California, where he married Charlotte Faye Strong. They started a family and had seven girls while living in California, in 1973 the family moved to Oregon where they had four boys.
Leonard was self employed his whole life and had several businesses where he was an auctioneer, mechanic, truck driver and salesman just to name a few. One of his favorite things to do was buy and sell just about anything from tools to real estate.
Leonard is survived by: Daughters Belinda Haines of grants Pass, OR, Della Drum of Medford, OR, Elizabeth and Pat Menicucci of Medford, OR, Lynnie and Gary Taylor of Seaside, OR, Sharon and Larry Wright of Happy Camp, CA. Sons Leonard James Neill of Medford, OR, William and Wendy Neill of Grants Pass, OR, Mike and Sandra Neill of Grants Pass, OR and Carl and Jennifer Neill of Grants Pass, OR. 16 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by: His parents, Brothers Jim Neill and Carl Neill, Wife Charlotte Faye Neill and Daughters Mamie Neill and Brenda Neill.
He was an amazing, caring and a loving husband, father, grandpa and friend.
A Graveside service will be held at Granite Hill Cemetery on January 31, 2018. Chapel of the Valley-L.B. Hall Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
