Leonard Daniel Poole, 68, of S. Eastway Drive, Troutman, died Friday, July 20, 2012, at his residence. He was born November 16, 1943, in Iredell County and was the son of the late Benjamin Harrison and Texie Pearson Poole. He retired from JCPenney Warehouse and was a member of Troutman Baptist Church. He is survived by a sister, Judy Hager; a brother, Everette Poole both of Statesville; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, July 26, 2012, at Troutman Baptist Church with the Rev. J.B. Parker officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
