LeRoy Anthony Zacher (1954 - 2014) LeRoy Anthony Zacher, 59, of Yuma, Arizona, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 15, 2014 after a long battle with cancer. LeRoy was preceded in death by his father, AI Zacher, and brother Billy Zacher. He is survived by his wife, Barbara A. Zacher of Yuma, AZ; his daughters Terri Zacher of Yuma, AZ; Tina (Chad) Kluemper of Peoria, AZ; his son Thomas (Izumi) Zacher of Japan; his mother Barbara J. Zacher of Fargo, ND; brother AI (Wanda) Zacher of Fargo, ND; his sister Mary Jo Zacher of Peoria, IL; 5 beautiful granddaughters and several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, and Nephews. LeRoy was born in...

LeRoy Anthony Zacher, 59, of Yuma, Arizona, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 15, 2014 after a long battle with cancer.

LeRoy was preceded in death by his father, AI Zacher, and brother Billy Zacher. He is survived by his wife, Barbara A. Zacher of Yuma, AZ; his daughters Terri Zacher of Yuma, AZ; Tina (Chad) Kluemper of Peoria, AZ; his son Thomas (Izumi) Zacher of Japan; his mother Barbara J. Zacher of Fargo, ND; brother AI (Wanda) Zacher of Fargo, ND; his sister Mary Jo Zacher of Peoria, IL; 5 beautiful granddaughters and several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, and Nephews.

LeRoy was born in Fargo, ND. He was the oldest of four children. He was a proud Retired U.S. Marine and Desert Storm Veteran. He believed strongly in God and his Country. He was very active in the Knights of Columbus. At the time of his death he was the Business Manager of Immaculate Conception Church. One of LeRoy's proudest accomplishments was winning the heart of his beautiful wife, Barbara, who he vowed to love and honor for his entire life. They were married for 37 years. LeRoy was very proud of his children and their accomplishments. LeRoy genuinely loved his children as much as life itself and still felt that their successes were an accomplishment that Barb and he continued to share.

Some of his happiest times were spent with his granddaughters. he truly loved being a Husband, Father, Grandfather and Friend.

The Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at Immaculate Conception Church on Thursday, February 20, 2014 from 7 pm to 9 pm and Funeral Mass will be at Immaculate Conception Church on Friday, February 21, 2014 at 1 pm. Donations in his memory can be made to Immaculate Conception Church or School at 505 S. Avenue B, Yuma, AZ. 85364.
