Les and I went through USAF pilot training together in 1955. We shared some happy times then and later. He was a good man and a good friend. I will miss him. Bob Arnold, Denver, CO

Godspeed Les, from a fellow USAF pilot training classmate. And thanks for your help in keeping track of the troops from class 56-S for the past 56 years. We'll miss you at the next reunion.

Les and I met in USAF pilot training in 1955. I lived in central California and he lived in the Los Angeles area. We drove from Georgia to California in 1956 in 48 hours. I later crossed paths with Les in Fresno when we were both the in Calif Air National Guard. I flew for a different airline but we hooked up after we retired and Les was our go to guy for our class reunions. I knew he was failing but didn't know how sick he was. A good guy
