Leslie Cochran

June 24, 1951 - March 8, 2012

A. Leslie Cochran, 60, of Austin, passed away Thursday, the 8th of March 2012. A well-known and loved icon of Austin, Leslie touched the lives of many people through his activism for causes that concerned the dignity of every human being.
His family wants to convey the following message: "Leslie was a compassionate soul who respected and loved everyone. We will forever be in debt to the people of the City of Austin for the love and respect you showed him."
A public visitation will be held in the Colonial Chapel at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 N. Lamar Blvd. from five O'clock in the afternoon until seven O'clock in the evening on Friday, the 9th of March 2012 immediately followed by the Recitation of the Rosary. The family requests this to be a dignified occasion of remembrance and prayer.
Funeral services and interment will be private.
Services under the direction of Cook-Walden Funeral Home.
