Lester Jearl Fritsche, born on July 18, 1952, passed away on July 27, 2016. Lester graduated from Spring Branch High School in 1971 and joined the U.S. Army where he served in Vietnam and Germany until 1978. While in the Army, he married and had two sons. Lester was a cable splicer with Southwestern Bell Telephone and had the same job with the United States Air National Guard 272nd Electronics Installation Squadron in LaPorte, Texas. He then worked as a guard at Texas Department of Corrections. Lester was an avid fisherman and hunter. Lester is survived by his sons; Louis and Matthew, mother; Eller Elizabeth, and siblings; Lois, Kealen, and Leon Fritsche, and six grandchildren. Lester was a member in good standing with Masonic Luftbrucke Lodge 838 in Weisbaden, Germany, American Legion Post 411 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4709 in Conroe, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to: American Legion Post 411, PO Box 974, Conroe, Texas 77305 phone number: (936) 327-0964. Memorial service for Lester Jearl Fritsche will be held at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe, Texas on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 10:00am.

I am very sorry for your loss. Lester and my husband were friend for years and he was devasted when he heard the news. He made excellent brisket and we had fish competitions on the weekends.
