Lewis H. Wilkinson, 87, of Bartlett, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2013. He was a communicant of Church of the Nativity and was a WW II and Korean War veteran, having served in both the US Marine Corps and the US Navy. Mr. Wilkinson was preceded in death by his dear wife, Agnes Wilkinson and is survived by his three children, Tommy Wilkinson of Millington, Katherine Wilkinson Ryan of Wayne, PA and Steven Wilkinson of Bartlett; a brother, Milo Wilkinson of Provo, UT; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Arthur Wilkinson. Family and friends will gather Thursday evening, September 26 from 5-8 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Mass will be at 11 a.m., Friday morning, September 27 at the Ave Maria Home, 2795 Charles Bryan Rd. Memorial gifts may be made to Crossroads Hospice, the Ave Maria Foundation or the Alzheimer's Association. Online condolences may be made at www.memphisfuneralhome.net
