Dr. Li Jia Zhang, age 55 of Kingsport, entered into rest on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at Holston Valley Medical Center. Li Jia was a native of Chongqing, China and the daughter of the late Shou Chen Zhang and Bai Yu Xu.
Survivors include her husband of 9 ½ years, Keith L. Thomas; a son, Yujie Zhou and one brother, Rui Zhang.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 16, 2012 from 12 noon until 2:00 pm. in the chapel of East Lawn Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with David Peters officiating. Interment will be held in East Lawn Memorial Park following the service. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
