PEORIA HEIGHTS- Lila L. Maier, 85, of Peoria Heights, passed away January 22, 2011 at OSF Saint Clare Home in Peoria Heights.
She was born May 14, 1925 in Peru, the daughter of Floyd and Laura Wilson Swenson. She first married Alan Knauer and later married Harold Maier. He preceded her in death in July 1976.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Michael Maier.
Surviving are one daughter, Sharon (William) Larsen of Cottonwood, AZ; one granddaughter, Suzanne (Tony) Callahan-Bill of Charlotte, NC; and two great-grandchildren, Vincent Bill and Amanda Bill both of Charlotte, NC.
Lila was a member of the First Congregational Church of Peru.
By her request, private cremation rites are accorded. Davison-Fulton Anderson Chapel in Chillicothe is in charge of arrangements.
