Lillian Allen went to be with the Lord on January 17, 2011. Lillian was preceded in death by her husband Louis Allen and her son, Bennett Allen. She is survived by her three daughters, Yvonne and Larry Newman, Sheree and Rick Davis and Starlyne and Corky Hernandez; 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and brother, William Hendryx. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 20, 2011 in the Chapel of Grove Hill Funeral Home. Interment: Grove Hill Memorial Park. Family visitation: 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

I was so sorry to hear about your mother's death. Vicki Cook let me know.
I have such fond memories of your mother during our Rainbow days. This picture is just the way I remember her--vibrant and beautiful.
Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. It is not easy to lose your mother.
