Bridgewater Lillian Forsyth Massie, 94, of Bridgewater passed away Thursday morning, January 26, 2012 at Rockingham Memorial Hospital. She was born September 26, 1917 in Staunton, daughter of the late Harman B. Forsyth, Sr. and Georgia Lee Collins Waybright. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Layton McCarthy "Mac" Massie on December 18, 1997. They were married on August 26, 1938. Lillian Forsyth Massie, 94, of Bridgewater passed away Thursday morning, January 26, 2012 at Rockingham Memorial Hospital.
She was born September 26, 1917 in Staunton, daughter of the late Harman B. Forsyth, Sr. and Georgia Lee Collins Waybright.

A service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 28, 2012 at the Staunton Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes with Pastor Kelly Lane officiating. Burial will follow at Thornrose Cemetery.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
