Obituary

Lillian Lorine Simmons Speller, 92, of Savannah, died Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013 at Azalealand Convalescent Center, under the care of Hospice Savannah. She was born in Tennessee, and was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Calvin Speller, Sr., and her son, William Ralph Speller. She was a homemaker, and a member of Fellowship Assembly of God in Garden City, Ga., where she taught Sunday School for many years. She is survived by 3 sons, Eddie Lamar Speller (Diane) of West Monroe, Louisiana; Allen Calvin Speller Jr., (Grace) of Savannah, Ga, and Robert S. Speller, Sr., (Ellen) of Faulkville, Ga; a sister, Christine Ingram, Richmond Hill,...
Lillian Lorine Simmons Speller, 92, of Savannah, died Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013 at Azalealand Convalescent Center, under the care of Hospice Savannah.
She was born in Tennessee, and was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Calvin Speller, Sr., and her son, William Ralph Speller.
She was a homemaker, and a member of Fellowship Assembly of God in Garden City, Ga., where she taught Sunday School for many years.
She is survived by 3 sons, Eddie Lamar Speller (Diane) of West Monroe, Louisiana; Allen Calvin Speller Jr., (Grace) of Savannah, Ga, and Robert S. Speller, Sr., (Ellen) of Faulkville, Ga; a sister, Christine Ingram, Richmond Hill, Ga., 13 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Friday at Fairhaven Funeral Home – Hubert C. Baker Chapel, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, Ga 31406.
Funeral Services: 12:00 p.m. Saturday in the Hubert C. Baker Chapel, with Rev. David Stanton, officiating.
Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
