Lillie Bell Wyatt Absher
Lillie Bell Wyatt Absher, 81 of Hudson, NC, passed away Friday, November 26, 2010 at Caldwell Memorial Hospital in Lenoir, NC.
Mrs. Absher was born April 2, 1929 in Wilkes County, NC to the late Charlie and Adeline Ayers Wyatt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jesse James Wyatt and Billy the Kid Wyatt; two sisters, Virginia Wyatt and Cora Wyatt.
She was a member of Harvest Church of Hudson, NC.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Johnie R.V. Absher; one son, James Absher and wife Lesa of Hudson, NC; four daughters, Debbie Absher Goforth and husband, Robert, Sue Absher Shatley and husband Wally of Hudson, NC, Anita Absher Smith and husband Jeff of Lenoir, NC, and Barbara Absher and fiancé, Sam Chapman of Lenoir, NC; three brothers, Roosevelt and Estel Wyatt, both of Statesville, NC, and Ricky Wyatt of N. Wilkesboro, NC; three sisters, Lucille Shue of Kannapolis, NC, Dorothy Keller, of Mocksville, NC, and Shirley Williams of Traphill, NC; eleven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held for Mrs. Absher, Sunday, November 28, 2010 at 3:00 pm at Pendry's Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Raymond Spann officiating. Burial will follow the service at Blue Ridge Memorial Park in Lenoir, NC. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 28, 2010 from 2:00 pm until 3:00pm prior to the service at Pendry's Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Larry Johnson, Patrick Morgan, Tim Adams, Matthew Smith, Joey Good, and Don Roberts.

Grandma will be missed. Such a lovely Christian lady she was. I know that one day we will see her again. Until then I hold tight to the memories we shared. I love you Grandma! Don't worry. We will take good care of Grandpa.
