Lincoln J. Hink, 88, of Clayton, passed away at SECU Hospice facility in Smithfield Thursday February 26, 2015. He was born August 4, 1926 in Morristown, NJ, a son of the late Levi and Ethel (Steven) Hink.
Lincoln served in the US Navy from 1943-1946 as an Aviation Merchant Mate on the Hellcats carrier aircraft service unit 27, he worked on aircraft F6F stationed at Martha Vineyard, Boca Chico Keys, Rhode Island, Samson NY, Dry Tortugas, after his service time he was Honorary discharged in Galveston, TX. Lincoln worked as calculator repairman for Monroe Calculation in NJ, he drove tractor trailers for 7 years before moving to Florida in 1979 where he worked at Florida State Fair Authority in Tampa for 14 years. Lincoln moved to Clayton in 2008. He attended Shiloh Baptist church in Garner and loved yard work, riding motorcycles and boating.
He was predeceased by his first wife Ruth Hink, a brother Levi, and a sister Irene Smith.
Lincoln is survived by his wife Jacqueline Hink of Clayton, daughters Dawn Allen and husband George Cox of Marina del Ray, CA, Jill Allen of Broken Arrow, OK, Dawna Pollack and husband Ed of Clatyon, sons John Troy Reagan and wife Rheta of Edgemont, SD, Bret Hundren Reagan and wife Mary of Dayton OH, brother Gene Hink of Brandon FL; eight grandchildren: Kristy Mullins, Kelly Talley, Ashley Vilga, Joshua Pollack, Michael Cox, Dillon Reagan, Shannon Wentworth, Jesse Regan and twelve great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 2 pm Saturday March 7, at Shiloh Baptist Church 3414 N Shiloh Rd, Garner, NC 27529

I will always remember Uncle Lincoln as one having a quick wit and an easy going manner. I looked forward when he visited our home. His photo online says volumes about his personality. He will be missed.
