Linda Diane Kirtley, age 68, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on November 22, 2016. Born December 12, 1947 to Troy Lee Kirtley and Bettie Joe (Davis) Kirtley, Linda was a loving and devoted mother. She was known for her independence, fierce determination, and her hard work ethic. In addition to her love and devotion to family, she also loved the Lord and was of the Baptist faith.
She is preceded in death by her father, her brother David Kirtley, and her sister Anita Kirtley.
Left to cherish her memory is mother Bettie Joe (Davis) Kirtley, her daughter, Bettie Cook of North Little Rock, her son Danny Thompson of Little Rock, and her son John Thompson of Columbia Tennessee; her siblings Robert Kirtley, Steven Kirtley, Eugene Kirtley, George Neal Kirtley, and Sherrie Kirtley; her grandchildren Christian Thompson, Samantha Cook, Lauren Hawkins, Kyle Thompson, Alyxandra Thompson, Josephina Thompson, Makayla Thompson, Skyler Thompson, and Lawson Barlow; and her great-grandchild Drew Hawkins.
A celebration of her life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 27, 2016 at Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth Funeral Home, 5800 W. 12th St, Little Rock, Arkansas 72204, with burial immediately following at Pinecrest Cemetery, Alexander Arkansas. Her visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Pulaski County Humane Society.

My family lived right down the street from the Kirtleys when I was a kid. We lived at 1317 Hanger Street. All of us kids would walk to school to Parham Elementary as kids together. My sympathies to you and yours at this time. Blessings Brenda Young
