Linda L. Paul, age 75, of Peoria, passed away Friday, May 12, 2017 at 7:50 p.m. at her residence surrounded by her family.
She was born June 12, 1941 in Peoria to Andrew and Evelyn (Hanelt) Dozard. She married Robert Paul May 28, 1960 in Peoria. He passed away Nov. 9, 2008 in Peoria. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one son, Tony Paul, one brother, Jim Dozard, and one sister, Barbara Dozard.
Survivors include two sons: Mike Paul of Washington, Tom (Donna) Paul of Morton, one daughter, Angela McGrew of Geneseo, seven grandchildren: Andrew Sipka, Megan Sipka, Lauren Paul, Robyn Paul, Tony Abbey, Tanyr Abbey, Tyler Abbey, and four great-grandchildren. She was also survived by one brother, Dan (Gail) Dozard of Peoria Heights, and two sisters-in-law: Shirley Paul and Tish Davis.
Linda worked at Pekin Country Club for 26 years retiring as Assistant Manager in 2007. She enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas and spending time at her cabin at Spring Lake with family and friends. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation and gratitude to dear friend Wanda Rippey and Gail Dozard for their support and help with Linda’s care.
Visitation will be Monday, May 15, 2017 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in West Peoria.
