AUSTIN, LINDA VICTORIA 8/9/1949-1/9/2011 Beloved wife and Mother joined the Quire of Angels on Sunday morning at 8:55 A.M. Leaving behind her Husband of forty years, John Austin, her Daughters Jennifer and Heather, two beloved grandsons, Avery and Thomas, son-in-law Tyler. Also her brothers Edwin and Dave Woodall and sister Sandy George. She was born in Puyallup and moved to Spokane during grade school in the 50's and graduated from Central Valley High School and attended Holy Names College at Ft. Wright. Beloved wife and Mother joined the Quire of Angels on Sunday morning at 8:55 A.M. Leaving behind her Husband of forty years, John Austin, her Daughters Jennifer and Heather, two beloved grandsons, Avery and Thomas, son-in-law Tyler. Also her brothers Edwin and Dave Woodall and sister Sandy George. She was born in Puyallup and moved to Spokane during grade school in the 50's and graduated from Central Valley High School and attended Holy Names College at Ft. Wright. Married on December 12, 1970 and then traveled the world for 20 years following her husband's military career. In 1989 Linda and her family returned home to Spokane and she took up a career as a Chef at the Red Lion Hotel until she developed cancer in 1999 which eventually claimed her life. Her favorite pastime was watching and taking care of "her boys" the Spokane Shock football team. She will be missed by all. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, January 14th 2011 P.M. at 1:00 PM at Thornhill Valley Chapel, 1400 S. Pines Rd., Spokane Valley, WA
