From 2004, she also held a joint appointment in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. Linda's recent scholarship focused on technology and communication. Her earlier work involved gender perception and stereotypes and their impacts on attitudes and behavior. Linda published more than 70 research articles, as well as numerous chapters and two books. For years, she taught Psychology 101 to untold thousands of students. Wherever she traveled, she would encounter MSU grads who fondly remembered her course. Linda was a strong, delightful, sparkling woman who will be deeply missed. She was predeceased by her parents, Edward J. and Anna (Chiuchiolo) Jackson, and her brother Robert. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, (Dcn.) Mike Murray; her children Chris (Rumi Aramaki) Murray and Lindsay Murray, her granddaughters Sena and Milana Murray, her sister Evelyn (Robert) LaGoe, and many other family and friends. The family will receive friends Friday, from 2-4 and 6-8 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes East Lansing Chapel. The Scripture Service will be held at 7:00. The funeral Mass will be at Saint Thomas Aquinas Church, 955 Alton Road in East Lansing at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2014.
