My best childhood friend, she was always a delight, kind, loving and truly special to me and our family. Her family and mine were together so often, we played daily and yes that bedroom was jet black, it was just a whim her parents let her enjoy. She loved drama. Best wishes, sincere thoughts and prayers to and for each of you.

My thoughts and prayers are with you, Danny and your family. I'm another Cumberland Gap friend who went to school in the Gap with Linda and had Linda's grandmother as my third and fourth grades teacher so many years ago.
Linda was a kind person and a tireless worker who chose her church and charities to reflect her true interests and spent her time furthering these true causes.
Since I no longer live in the area, I will be unable to attend the services, but my prayers will be with you.

Danny and family...my sister, Sandy Greene Thompson, called to tell me my sweet childhood/high school friend had passed away on Christmas Day. I have such fond memories of that part of my life with her. She was a bridesmaid in my wedding. I remember that she once decided to paint her bedroom black, and I told her she was crazy. Afterward, I will have to admit that I liked it. Although I have not talked to her in many years, I thought of her often. I am sorry that I will not be able to come to the services, but my thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Farewell, my friend.
