Mrs. Linda A. Owens, 67, of LaGrange died Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at Hospice LaGrange. Mrs. Owens was born November 26, 1944 in LaGrange, daughter of the late John Thomas Denney and Merle Jeter Denney. She had lived in LaGrange all her life and was retired from Inflations Systems. Mrs. Owens was faithful member of Christ's Family at LaGrange Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Tracy D. Survivors include her husband, Donald S. Owens; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas W. and Johanna Anderson; daughter, Bonnie R. Hammond; and two grandchildren, Shelby Anderson and Dylan Anderson.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Chapel with Evangelist Joel Ellis, Mr. Ken Pittman, and Mr. William Yin officiating. Burial will follow in Meadoway Gardens Cemetery.
The family will be at the home of her son, Thomas Anderson, 763 Upper Glass Bridge Road, and will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
