Obituary

Lindsay Kaye Jefferies was born on May 10, 1985 in Houston, Texas. She was the daughter of Uel R. Jefferies and Phyllis K. Jefferies and she had two sisters, Janet and Brittany. As a small child she had the nickname Lindsay Lou because she reminded everyone of the cartoon character Cindy Lou Who and because Christmas was one of her favorite holidays. She was a special person and a loving mother of two children, Cole and Sage. She was very creative in many ways and had many interests. As a young child she attended dance class with her sister, Brittany, and played softball for several years. She had a flair for alternative fashion style and was passionate about creating unique designs relating to clothing, hair, nails, jewelry and even including a coffee table she designed in high school. She enjoyed many activities, including camping, fishing, attending concerts and enjoyed all kinds of music. She enjoyed attending Drum Circle and also watching fire spinning and her favorite movie was Labyrinth. She liked watching the Powerpuff Girls and LOVED to shop, especially for pajamas, shoes and purses. She graduated from Mehlville High School in 2003 and she was currently enrolled in the National Academy of Beauty Arts, learning to be a professional cosmetologist. She very much enjoyed spending time with her children. She had a magnetic personality and was loved by everyone. Her daughter, Sage, describes her as "cute and kind" and her son, Cole, says "she was nice."

She was preceded in death by three grandparents, Harry Matheny, Raymond Jefferies, and Leona Jefferies, an Aunt Leila Jefferies, and a nephew Micheal Jefferies. She is survived by both her children Sage Schulte and Cole Linders, her parents Phyllis Jefferies of South County, MO, Uel Jefferies of South City, MO, her sisters Janet (Matt) Buchhammer of Cheyenne, WY and Brittany Jefferies of St. Louis, MO, a grandmother Helen Matheny of Wheelersburg, OH, a nephew Sebastian Buchhammer, a niece Esme Buchhammer, and a niece or nephew expected on Christmas Eve, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

"linsay was the truest person I think I ever met and I will always miss her." Timothy Hardin (House Springs, MO)
