Lindsey S. Stone, 36, of Rockford, Our beautiful and loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, but most of all, our friend, went home into the arms of the angels on Friday evening the 25th of November. No words can express our sorrow in losing Lindsey. Everyone that knew her adored her and drew from her exceptional strength. Lindsey could light up a room with her smile and vibrant personality. She loved to joke and had a contagious laugh. Lindsey was a tenacious defender for the people she loved, and was a beacon of light and hope to everyone that she shared her story with.
She is survived by her husband, James, her daughter Taylor Luthe and son Gage Firman, brother Daniel (Jessica) Quisenberry, sisters Tammy Larson and Kandy (Jerry) Johnson, mother Nancy (Harry) Larson, grandmother Ruth (Richard-deceased) Plock, and numerous beloved others. She is predeceased by her father, Douglas Quisenberry. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family.
Funeral Services at 2 p.m. on Saturday December 3 at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 North Alpine Rd, Machesney Park. Visitation at 1 p.m. until time of service. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. To share a memory or condolence visit www.sunsetfhmemgardens.com

Lindsay I hung out with friends of mine she always made me laugh she was always the party and no matter how small our group gets from all the people we hung out with I know that they will be waiting for me one day when I get there and we will continue hanging out and having a good time I still can't believe Your gone ❤❤❤ Michael morales

So sorry for your family's loss. Lindsey was my best friend when we were younger. We quickly became like sisters and I considered her family my family. I wish we would of stayed in touch more when I moved. I know you will be missed greatly. I'll see you on the other side someday Lindsey!
