Lindsey Nicole Middleton, our beautiful and beloved daughter, was escorted to heaven by the angels to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on February 17, 2014. Lindsey was born in San Antonio, Texas, on October 8, 1981. She graduated from Churchill High School in 2000, where she was a member of the cheerleading team. She attended the University of Texas in Austin and graduated in 2005 with a degree in Sociology and Communications. Lindsey came into the world ready to make a difference. From the moment she started walking, she danced her way through life, bringing joy and laughter to everyone she touched. Lindsey's candle burned very bright and she lived life to the fullest. She enjoyed musical theater, modeling, tennis, horseback riding, roller coasters, music from the 60's (she loved The Beatles), and so much more. Dogs held a special place in her heart; she had many throughout her life and she loved them dearly. Lindsey enjoyed traveling and visited many wonderful cities and countries with her family and friends. Lindsey viewed Disneyworld as her second home and loved collecting Disney memorabilia. Lindsey welcomed every opportunity to conquer new challenges, and she accomplished whatever she put her mind to. Above all else, Lindsey loved God and her family and friends. She found her greatest joy in spending time with her large and extended family and with all of her dear and loving friends. Lindsey's beautiful smile and kind spirit will be greatly missed. She has left this world a better place. Her grandparents Clifton and Pat Middleton and Gerald Kuykendall, and her aunt Suzanne Kuykendall, preceded her to heaven. She is survived by her grandmother, Blanche Kuykendall; parents, Jeff and Sylvia Middleton; brother, Jeffrey Middleton; uncles, Gerald (Patty), Michael (Connie), Gerard, Jeff (Amanda), and Andrew Kuykendall; aunts, Priscilla Grota (Jim), and Robin Ricks (Tom); and numerous cousins. A celebration of Lindsey's life will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 8134 Blanco Road, on Saturday, February 22, 2014, at 11:45 a.m. After Mass, friends and family will continue the celebration in the parish hall.
