Linnie Boshears Richardson, 91, of Bloomington, passed away Monday, November 4, 2013 at the residence of her granddaughter, Shonna Flynn. She was born in Huntsville, Tennessee to Elmer Boshears and Minnie Adkins Boshears. She moved to Bloomington as a young girl. She graduated from Unionville High School in 1942. She was employed by Kressge Dollar Store, RCA and retired from Indiana University Halls of Residence at the age of 62 to care for her husband, Harley L. Richardson. Linnie Boshears Richardson, 91, of Bloomington, passed away Monday, November 4, 2013 at the residence of her granddaughter, Shonna Flynn. She was born in Huntsville, Tennessee to Elmer Boshears and Minnie Adkins Boshears. She moved to Bloomington as a young girl. She graduated from Unionville High School in 1942. She was employed by Kressge Dollar Store, RCA and retired from Indiana University Halls of Residence at the age of 62 to care for her husband, Harley L. Richardson. Linnie and Harley were married on September 7, 1945.

She took great pride in her family and in return they thought the world of her. She is survived by two daughters, Linda Jo Baker (Mike) and Reba Jane Thomas (Brad) of Bloomington; Also she is survived by five grandchildren, Kyle Baker (Leslie), Chad Baker (Bryn), Shonna Flynn (Chris), Darcie Lawalin (Tom) and Danielle Thomas (Amanda). She adored her nine greatgrandchildren, Jacob Conard (Erinn), Clint Conard (Adrianna), Jack, Sydney and Hannah Baker, Kylee and Caleb Lawalin and Nora and Nash Baker. One sister also survives, Becky Koons of Stanford. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers; Clifford, Onva and Phillip Boshears; and one sister, Mary Carmichael.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 7, 2013 in Day Funeral Home, 4150 East Third St., with Reverend Frank Helton officiating. Burial will follow at Little Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled prior to services on Thursday November 7, 2013 from 11:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M. If friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Little Union Baptist Church Cemetery.
