Lisa's family,
My years at The News-Times were more complete because I knew Lisa. She was always smiling, always cooperative and always willing to dig deeper to find a solution to a problem. She continuously put our customers first, and I will never forget her for that. Rest in Peace, Lisa. You deserve it.

To Lisa's Family -
Thank you for sharing Lisa with me for so many years. She was my best friend and she will always be my family. Thank you for helping her and standing by her side always. She loved her family and held each one of you so dear to her heart.
I miss her more than words can express at this time. But I know she fought the good fight with more courage then I have ever seen. I will forever remember the great times.
But I know with my whole heart I will see her again ..
May the grace of God protect each of you... And give you the peace needed to heal.
Love D

Dear Asia... I am deeply saddened by the passing of your mother. Your mother's passion for YOU was undeniable and her commitment to being involved with you and the cheerleading program during "the day" was unforgettable. I enjoyed her smile, her focus and her deep admiration and affection for you. She aspired for you to be all you could be and to surround you with unconditional motherly support and love. Her legacy is her awesomeness as a mom and your comfort should be in knowing how much she loved you and how proud she was of you. God Bless you at this time and always. You are in my prayers,

To the Family of Lisa,
We were a family at the News Times, in our own little world. I saw you not just as a colleague, but as a friend. I remember Asia going through her driving classes and how nervous you were. I saw you differently when we were going to classes together. You confided in me and I in you. You gave me a lot of advise and words of encouragement in my endeavors. You were and still are a part in all the lives you have touched. You will be missed. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers from this day on until we can meet again. God Bless Lisa's family and friends, but most of all Asia. Stay strong keep Mom close in your heart. She has not left you, just look over your shoulder and she will be there.
