Lisa Patridge 50, of East Peoria passed away at 9:30 p.m. on September 26, 2012 at her residence surrounded by her family and friends.
Lisa was born February 5,1962 In Peoria, the daughter of Edward & Myrtle (Marler) Leach. She married Gregory Patridge in Pekin in October of 1982.
She is survived by her mother, Myrtle Hatch of East Peoria; her children, Gregory (Melissa) Patridge of Deer Creek, and Brittany Patridge of Washington; grandchildren Izabella and Elizabeth Patridge, and another granddaughter on the way; two brothers, Ron (Karen) Leach of East Peoria, and Randy (Cheryl) Leach of Metamora; ex-husband Gregory Patridge of Creve Coeur.
Lisa was preceded in death by her father, step-father Clelle Hatch and grandson Kurtis.
She worked for Great Plains Orthopedic for many years in Medical Records.
Lisa enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids. She also loved to shop. She battled cancer for two and half years, fighting till the very end.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday October 3, 2012 at Remmert Funeral Home. Pastor John Plunkett will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday October 2, 2012 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. also at funeral home. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Morton. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society. It is unbelievable that the Lord needed her more than we. She was such a great gal. She had a smile that could brighten any room and a laugh that was totally infectious. She was such a bright, shining star. Her children were everything to her. We worked (and played) together while we both worked at Venture. May your memories and faith sustain you in the journey ahead.
