May the Lord continue to be with Little Jimmy Dickens family! It's a full year later and I still think of him. My Daddy loved his music and I got a real kick out of it. Will never forget his "Guitar Mailbox"! He and my Mother-in-law were the same height. Both-little but powerhouses! God be with all of you and my prayer is that he is with the Lord above and having a wonderful time worshipping at His feet!

John 11:33 says: "When Jesus saw her weeping and the Jews who had come with her weeping and groaning, he groaned within himself and became troubled." Jesus expressed tears when his friend Lazarus died, he knows how it feels to lose a dead loved one and he understands what you and your family are experiencing. May this bring you and your family comfort in this time of need. cjp (fla.)

I have listened to him since I was born. Mother had his records and "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Clause" on a 78 record..red label I think. I still have it. Heard him on the Louisiana Hay Ride, and Grand Ole Opry. We would sit in the living room listening to him. Grand man. May he be free of pain and RIP.

Many memories of seeing & hearing Little Jimmy Dickens perform on the Opry. My favorite was the last time I was at the Opry. It was "Dukes of Hazzard" night and several of the stars of the show were there. As they were speaking, here comes Jimmy wearing the white Boss Hogg outfit, including the white hat. Nearly brought the roof down on the Opry House. He will be missed by all and my sincerest condolences to his family as well as his Grand Ole Opry family.

Jimmy, I hope you and Dewey can settle the question of who sounds like who?, We were having a party and your brother Dewey and several others from W.Va. were playing. I asked Dewey to sing "Sleeping at the Foot of the Bed" an "Take a cold Tater and Wait" I was teasing him about sounding like you, he corrected me and said "NO, he sounds like me" I was amassed how much little Dewey looked like you, sory he died so young, now I hope you are up there with J. Cash and that the "Circle will be unbroken"
