CAMPO Lloyd A. Campo, Sr., a World War II Navy Veteran, retired co-owner of Campo Music Stores, a loyal volunteer at the World War II Museum, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at the age of 89. A native and lifelong resident of New Orleans, he is survived by his sons and daughters in law, Lloyd A. Campo, Jr. and Barbara Bryant Campo and David L. Campo and Julie Jarreau Campo; grandchildren, Samuel Campo (Kristie), Lauren Campo DiVincenti (David), Harrison Campo and Mallory Campo; great-grandchildren, Hudson Campo, Anthony and Mary DiVincenti; brother, Robert Campo (Kathy) and many nieces and nephews. Campo and Julie Jarreau Campo; grandchildren, Samuel Campo (Kristie), Lauren Campo DiVincenti (David), Harrison Campo and Mallory Campo; great-grandchildren, Hudson Campo, Anthony and Mary DiVincenti; brother, Robert Campo (Kathy) and many nieces and nephews. Lloyd was preceded in death by his wife Jesse Coker Campo and by second marriage, Ruth Krauss Campo; parents, Warren and Leona Hertz Campo, a granddaughter Nicole Campo; his brother Warren Campo, Jr. and sister Naomi Campo Veith.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 6249 Canal Blvd., New Orleans on Saturday, morning March 1, 2014 at 9:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Lloyd to the World War II Museum would be appreciated. Arrangements by Schoen Funeral Home.
