I miss talking to you on the phone once a week Mr. Elliot. You were a fine neighbor and friend. I always enjoyed our visits when you and Ms. Carol came to the barn. You were one of the hardest working men I think I have ever known as well. I look forward to seeing you again someday, Very respectfully, Vince Mayer

Lloyd was one of the funniest characters I've come across in some time. His quiet humor brought a light air to any situation and his wealth of wisdom will surely live on in the lives of all he encountered. God rest his soul.

I will surely miss Uncle Lloyd always known tome as Uncle Bud. He was always smiling everytime I saw him. I remember riding the horses at the farm on weekends. I love him and he will be missed.

I will always remember uncle Loyd growing up sitting at his farm on a cold day around the wood stove with my grandpa and uncle Loyd when it was to cold to be outside
Every time I saw him he would always say to me "how are you young fellar".
Back in 2007 I turned on the tv and was watching the parade in downtown OKC for the 100 year of Oklahoma statehood and when I turned on the tv I saw uncle Loyd on tv driving James garner through the parade in one of his antique cars I thought that was the neatest things

Lloyd was a mechanical genius and a man of great quality. We are fortunate to have known him. He leaves a void that no one can fill.

We have lost an American hero. A man who as a teenager was fighting the Nazi's and the rest of the Axis powers. A man who was my Uncle, whom I love and I will miss. Another member of the Greatest Generation who now belongs to the ages.

My uncle Lloyd was the identical twin of my father Floyd. They were two of a kind. I will miss him greatly. He was the last of the 3 children, Lloyd, Floyd, and Mary Jane. The end of an era for me, and the Elliott Family.
