Lloyd S. Huff, 72, of Jefferson City, passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at University Hospital in Columbia. He was born December 14, 1939 in Clarksburg, Mo., the son of James E. and Lovie Irene (Marriot) Huff.
He was united in marriage to Braxie Stafford on May 5, 1967 in Mokane, Mo. She survives at their home.
Lloyd served in the Missouri National Guard. He worked as an estimator for Jefferson Asphalt for forty years. He found great enjoyment in spending time with his family and watching Missouri Tiger Basketball.
Along with his wife of 45 years, Lloyd will be missed by his son, Michael S. Huff and his wife Lisa Marie of Jefferson City; brother, James M. Huff and wife Joyce of Tipton; sisters, Nadine Lloyd and Daphyne Hall, both of Jefferson City; two grandsons, Joshua and Adam Huff; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Paula Stienmetz; and three brothers, Perry, Thorton, and Birtle Huff.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Debo Funeral Home in Holts Summit. Interment will follow at Summit Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 10 am until the time of service.
In lieu of customary memorials, the family suggests memorial donations be made in Lloyd's name to the American Diabetes Association, c/o Debo Funeral Home, PO Box 314, Holts Summit, Mo. 65043.

Sure sorry to hear about Loyd, I had just talked with him in the past week at the Healthplex in JC. A true friend of mine, was in Guard with him. and Bowled with him in a league many years ago.
