VANCE- Lockie Mae Franklin, age 72, of Vance, died June 15, 2017, at home. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday, June 19, 2017, at Heritage Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Henry Joiner officiating. Burial will follow in Vance Cemetery with Heritage Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be Sunday, June 18, 2017 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.She was preceded in death by her mother, Gladys D. Weaver Wright; father, Tommy Clayton Wright; husband, James E. Franklin; and five siblings.Survivors include her daughter, Tina Rowe (Ronnie); sons, Randy (Sherry), Mike (Brenda) and Tim (Shawnee); sister, Penny Betts; grandchildren, Leslie Breske, Lauren Creamer, RaeShell Forsythe, Lindsey Ashley, Kristin Franklin, Emily Grelle, Matthew Franklin, Dillon Franklin, Cayson Franklin, and Saige Franklin; and 13 great-grandchildren. Lockie was a wonderful mother and maw maw. She loved life but most of all she was a Christian. She will always be greatly missed and loved dearly.Pallbearers will be Matthew Franklin, Dillon Franklin, Daniel Forsythe, Cade Ashley, Joel Bracknell and Jared Neal.Honorary pallbearers are Focus Group (Spice of Life), Vance Library and Wallace Chapel Church.
