I believe Tom put the whole package together to form the Moss-Bow Dog Show Org. way ahead of his time. Lois I understand was by his side and must have encouraged him a great deal. I am so glad she kept her mark in the organization throughout the ups and downs and even after Tom left us.
Besides their children the MB-F organization is a great tribute to both Tom and Lois. Dorie is still active in MB-F and my personal sympathies to her and the rest of the Tom and Lois legacy. Joy S. Brewster

Dorie, Terry and Family,

There are no words to express the loss of Mrs. Crowe. "Mom Too" as I called her, was such a big part of my life. I often told her she raised me. When I started to work for MB-F 39 years ago, it was a family I joined. Mr. and Mrs. Crowe, Gussie, Dorie, Terry and their families will always be part of my extended family. They were not the type of employers to sit in their office and watch the work get done. Yes, we all had our "day jobs" at MB-F, but at 5:00PM. we were all in the plant working shoulder to shoulder. Whatever needed to be done we did it together. When a truck was delayed on the way to a show, the judge's book, judging programs, catalogs all needed to be recreated and flown to the show site. Dorie called me, I was not home so she called me at my parent's home(that is a true work family when they know how to track you down). She explained the truck had not arrived at the show site and asked if I could help. Back to the office I went, we worked as a team, no one left until everything was done, packed and ready for Mr. Crowe to leave for the airport. That is the kind of trust, loyalty and love our MB-F family showed. Over the years, the company grew and more people joined the MB-F team, Mom Too just spread the love. When my husband joined the company in 1987, he too was "adopted" and fell in love with her. It did not matter to her if you had worked here one day or many years, hugs and kisses were freely given out. Recently, when it was difficult for her to make her rounds at work, she would sit up front. You would hear, Mrs. Crowe is here, Mrs. Crowe is here!! Everyone you passed would say, "hey did you know Mrs. Crowe is here?" I would rush up front for my hug and kiss. Sometimes I would sneak in extra hugs and kisses. I told her I needed to store them up until I saw her again. I was blessed to have Mom Too in my life. I will love and miss her always.

Dorie & Terry & family
Words can't begin to express my love for your Mother (and Grandmother) and how much I will miss her . Without her I think I would have not have made it at MB-F those first few weeks over 29 years ago. I came into the business as receptionist not knowing the first thing about dog shows or anyone that worked here. Megan, that was supposed to train me, left when I was only here 2 days. Your mother (Mom, as you know i call her) sat with me and helped with the phone call routing and also with the tremendous amount of mail to be opened. As years progressed and I moved from the front desk to the proofreading dept, she was still there to help wherever she was needed. Throughout the years I came to love her and your Dad as though they were my own parents. Both of your parents truly cared for all the employees throughout the years. I don't think there is another place of business where the owner actually goes around each day to greet, hug, kiss and say I love you (and she would say we were all her kids) to each employee, even when she came in the last few months and couldn't go around to each one she still sent messages by whomever came past here in the lobby to the rest of the employees. I think she truly meant it from her heart. I will surely miss those hugs and kisses and her smile. I will keep the family in my prayers and thoughts.
