Lois I. Thompson, 85, of Fort Wayne passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at her residence. She was born on December 4, 1926 in Fort Wayne to the late Tim and Ruth (Walda) Bolton. She worked for Wayne Knitting Mill, K Parts, and at Wolf and Dessauer before retiring from L.S. Ayres. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church where she was part of the Ladies Aide. She also was part of the quilting circle at Trinity English Lutheran Church. She enjoyed spending her free time gardening and quilting. Surviving family include her children, Scott E. Thompson and Mary A. (Grover) Davis both of Fort Wayne; 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; and 2 sisters, June and Helen Davidson. Besides her parents, she was preceded in passing by her husband, Ervin F. Thompson in April, 2010. A graveside service will be 2:00 pm on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Covington Memorial Gardens, 8408 Covington Road, Fort Wayne. Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funeral, Fort Wayne is handling arrangements. Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home.
