Lonnie A. Goff, Jr. 68 of Crescent Hill passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2013.

He was born May 16, 1945 in Louisville, the son of Lonnie and Nora Goff, Sr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Sue Alcorn and Betty Peck.

Lonnie was a United States Marine Corps Veteran and retired from Naval Ordnance after many years of service.

He leaves to cherish his memory two children, Rebecca Ann Whiteside (Michael) and Gregory Matthew Goff (Shannon); five grandchildren, Christopher, Michelle, Kelsi, Nicole and Hunter; two great-grandchildren, Kaleb and Kali; siblings, Chris Able, Ruby Cook, and Jessie Goff; and his special friend, Gwen Hobbs.

A service to celebrate his life will be conducted at 6:00 PM Sunday, November 10, 2013 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady-Cralle Funeral Home, 2428 Frankfort Ave. Visitation will be from 2-6 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may be given to the Wounded Warrior Project.
