Olive Branch - Lora Pearl Allison, 85, passed away July 16, 2013 in Brandon, MS. A native of the Byhalia and Olive Branch area Lora had made her home in the Jackson/Brandon area for last several years and was a member of First United Pentecostal Church in Jackson. She was a seamstress by trade with MS Industries for the Blind and retired as full-time homemaker. Lora is preceded in death by her husband Bill Allison, a son Clayton Allison and a daughter Marie Adams. She is survived by a son Clinton Allison and daughter Shelia Moss both of Memphis, TN; daughters Ruth Nelson and Genny Allison both of Brandon, MS; sisters, Donna Burt of Water Valley and Kitty Cash of Collierville, TN. Lora is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren as well as several nephews and nieces. There will be a gathering of friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Thursday, July 18, 2013 and the service will be Friday, July 19, 2013 at 10 all at the First Baptist Church of Olive Branch.
