Lennol, Lory Jay and families, I am so sorry I wasn't able to attend L. J.'s funeral. He was a very important part of my family and we all love him. I've known him from one of my first memories, he and Helen together. He will be missed and I will surely miss our talks every few weeks. I wish I could have had that last conversation with him when I called him the day of the tornadoes but the traffic on the phone lines was too much for us to hear each other. May God bless and keep all of you. My love to all of you. AuntJean

I knew Lory Absher in the late 60's and early 70's when he and I were involved in Masonic activities in Midland, Texas. His wife, Helen and my wife were involved in Social Order Of The Beauceants, also. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time. Dale and Wynojoe Ivie..Midland, Texas

Our condolences to all the family. We enjoyed the time we got to spend with LJ and Helen during their trip to Scotland in the late ninnies. Especially when LJ and I would walk down to the local pub for a pint of bevy. I and the Scotland locals got a big kick out of LJ while he would tell stories about his time back in the military. LJ will be greatly missed.
