Loraine Gibbons Adams, age 86, of Decatur, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2012. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2012, at Horis A. Ward's Rockdale Chapel at 1:00 p.m., with Rev. David Collinsworth officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Garden of Memories, in Decatur.
A native of Dekalb County, GA, Mrs. Adams retired from Coca-cola and was a Charter member of Rainbow Park Baptist Church. She is survived by: daughter & son-in-law, Francine & David Walker of Rutledge; son & daughter-in-law, Vernon & Kim Adams of Walnut Grove; 5 grandchildren, Kenneth Walker, Julie Gaffney, Kelly White, Phillip Adams & Bill Dryden; 3 great-grandchildren, T. J. White, Lyla White & Emmalyn Adams; several nieces & nephews
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Adams.
