Lorraine passed away peacefully at Tucson Medical Center on August 5th at the age of 92.
Born in Minneapolis, Lorraine graduated from the University Of Minnesota School Of Dental Hygiene. She moved to Tucson in 1953 and practiced as a dental hygienist for many years. In 1963 she married her beloved Ervin Daunheimer. They had 25 years of happiness together. Lorraine served as president of the Tucson Assistance League. She and Erv were avid fans of the University of Arizona Wildcat basketball team.
Lorraine is survived by her brother Roger (Janet) Carlson, niece Kristin (Gordon) Vlasak, nephews Brad (Mary), Steve, and Doug (Jennifer). Children by marriage: Joy Daunheimer Tevis and Jim (Jan) Daunheimer. Grandchildren: Kathrin Tevis Argentati, Jim Tevis, and Rory Daunheimer.
A Memorial Service will be held at The Forum, 2500 North Rosemount Blvd, Tucson, AZ, at 10am on Wednesday, August 16th.
