A Celebration of Life
Imagine this: laying in your death bed; your mom and dad at the foot and your husband and six siblings surrounding the bed. Majestic angels surrounding everyone for one of the greatest miracles in the world: a loved one being called Home to the Heavenly Father's loving embrace. Jesus Christ has lived in her. Now, she is truly alive in Him. No more sadness and Alzheimer's, just unimaginable joy. She believed and now she sees, no longer through a glass darkly, but now face to face, shouting 'Glory, Glory, Glory, thank you Lord, for your grace.' Lorraine Anderson of East Sandwich died on November 4, 2011 at the age of 83. She was the wife of the late Francis E. Anderson and the mother of Michael of Florida, Thomas of Hanson, James of Halifax and Deborah Sotirkys of East Sandwich. She also leaves 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. The funeral procession will depart at 10:30 AM on Friday, November 18, 2011 from the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 154 Route 6A, Sandwich for burial in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Mass. Chapter, 36 Cameron Ave., Cambridge, MA 02601.

Lorraine, a woman who anybody would be proud to say she was their Mother-in-law. I loved her smile, her laugh, her desire for cross-stitching, her pride she showed for her grandchildren. You have touched so many hearts in your lifetime. You are loved and missed because of the wonderful person you were. Thank you for the laughs and many hours we spent together sewing.
You are free from pain and at rest now. God bless you.
