Louie Durward "Dee" Hansford, Jr.

MACON – Louie Durward "Dee" Hansford, Jr., 67, passed away Monday, May 21, 2012. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, June 3. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to "The American Heart Association".

Dee was born in Macon and was the son of Louie Durward Hansford and Elizabeth Netherton Hansford. He was a graduate of Georgia State College, U.S. Army Language School and Army Veteran, served in the Peace Corps and a surveyor. Dee was of the Methodist Faith and was an Eagle Scout.

Dee is survived by his sister, Jane Hansford Lasher and her husband, John of Amarillo, TX; nieces, Elizabeth Albritton, Leslie Holman and Jane Lasher; one great-niece; five great-nephews. Call John McCord for details @ 478.475.8500
