My husband and I never met him, however our son, George, fiancee to Stephanie Anderson did have the pleasure of meeting him exactly 3 weeks before his death. We all traveled to Arlington for his funeral and were very impressed with the family and many friends. The services honored him in a wonderful and respectful way which he would have been very pleased, I'm sure. He was a great man and lived a long a blest life. Rest in Peace, "Andy"

To the Anderson family
I worked with your Dad for 30 years, off and on. He was one of the good ones. Hard-working, dependable, thoughtful and unassuming. If Andy was on the job it would get done right. I didn't know about his distinguished flying career, but I'm not at all surprised he just never mentioned it … besides all that, he was a really nice guy. I'm sorry to learn of his passing. My best wishes and prayers are with all of you.
