Mr. Louis Armendarez Sr., 98 of Porterville, passed away on January 11, 2011 in Porterville, Calfironia. Mr. Armendarez was born on August 25, 1912 in Knickerbocker, Texas. Mr. Armendarez was retired from farm labor. Louis is survived by: Sons, Louie Jr., Steve, Adrian, and Daughters, Cruz Gaytan of El Monte, Deanna Vasquez of Porterville, and Sara Lorigo of San Jose. Seventeen Grandchildren, nine Great Grandchildren and one Great Great grandchild. Louis was preceded in death by his wife Frances and son David. Services will be as follows: Monday, January 17, 2011 from 4:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Delano Mortuary, Rosary begins at 6:00 p.m....

Presiding Clergy will be Father Ervan Beers and Father Pastor Hermosillo. Pallbearers will be: Louie Armendarez II, Louie Armendarez III, David Vasquez, Angel Vasquez, Michael Binion, Marcos Medina, Andrew Hanna, and Steve Armendarez. Final resting place will be North Kern District Cemetery in Delano, California.
