Louise Hudson, 74, died Friday, December 7, 2012 at Clinton Healthcare in Clinton, MS. Born on March 17, 1938, in Memphis, TN to Robert and Ruby Holland. A year after graduating from Treadwell High School in Memphis, Louise married Frank Hudson on April 13, 1957. In 1968 they moved from Memphis to Clinton where she resided until her death.
She retired from the public relations office at Mississippi College after 29 years of service. Mr. and Mrs. Hudson attended Morrison Heights Baptist Church.
Mrs. Hudson loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. She was always ready to go places not caring where, just as long as she was with family and friends. Her mother, known by all that knew her as Mawmaw, lived with her and Frank for many years. Louise and Mawmaw were inseparable and would never miss an opportunity to attend any of her grandchildren's events. She loved to read, listen to music and dance with her husband, Frank. Elvis was one of their all time favorites. She also loved to travel, even driving to Cancun with Frank several times. Louise also enjoyed being outdoors, boating, fishing, camping and snuggling with her dog, Bengee. The most memorable trip was the last vacation she took with her family to St. John, Virgin Islands.
Louise was preceded in death by her father Robert Holland, mother Ruby Holland and son Dean Hudson.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years Frank Hudson, son Wayne Hudson (Amber) of Marietta, GA, daughter Alicia Parkman (Tim) of Clinton, MS, grandsons; Dayne and Kyle Hudson, Granddaughters; Sydney and Marley Parkman.
Visitation will be Monday, December 10, 2012 at 12:00PM at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Clinton, MS with funeral Service following at 2:00PM. Burial will be at Lakewood Memorial Park.

Mr. Frank, Wayne, and Alicia,
I don't know if you remember me. I worked in the PR office with Ms Louise for 4 years, 1983-87. (I graduated with Dean-Judy Mason) Ms Louise was a very important person in my life during my years at MC. We spent many hours working and talking about life and the Lord. I haven't seen Ms Louise since probably 1995 or so. I am sad that I didn't make the time to visit her when we made trips back to MS. For the past 8 years, I have lived overseas and only came home in 2007/2009. I have very precious memories of her and I thank the Lord so much for having her in my life. I will be praying for your family and will make it a priority to visit you next year when we are living in MS for a year. I pray that 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 will comfort your family. In Him...Judy Mason Nations

Frank,
It's the little things, the small, everyday occurrences that you'll remember. The laughs, the stories, the smiles. And even though it seems like you can never recover from your loss, it is these very memories that will help push the pain away and bring back the smiles.
May the love of the people around you help you through your pain. You can count on us for anything you need.
With our love,
