Lovis Evelyn Haneline, 87, passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2014. She was born on September 12, 1926 in Tupelo, Mississippi to the late Ephraim L. and Elois (Belk) Porter. She worked as a homemaker. She was a member of Zanesville United Brethren Church and enjoyed reading, puzzles, and cooking. Surviving family include her children, Margaret (Larry) Winebrenner, Terry, Jim (Trudy) Haneline, Tom, and Michelle Haneline; 8 grandchildren 16 great grandchildren, 12 great great grandchildren; and brothers, Eugene and Carl Porter. Besides her parents, she was preceded in passing by her husband, Thomas L. Haneline and four brothers. A funeral service will be 11:00 am on Friday, July 11, 2014 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 West Mill St., Ossian with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be from 4-8 pm on Thursday, July 10, 2014. Burial will be in Hoverstock Cemetery.
