Arrangements under the direction of Hixson Westlake, Westlake, LA. Lucery Henry, 68, passed away Friday, April 1, 2011 at VA Hospital in Alexandria, LA. He was a native of Crowley, LA and lived in Westlake, LA. He was a member of St. John Bosco Catholic Church. He was a U.S. army vet of Vietnam. He worked as an operator for Westlake Polymers. He raised birds, dogs, and plants most of his life. He was a loving husband father and friend who enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Survivors include his wife Patricia M. Lucery Henry, 68, passed away Friday, April 1, 2011 at VA Hospital in Alexandria, LA.

He was a native of Crowley, LA and lived in Westlake, LA. He was a member of St. John Bosco Catholic Church. He was a U.S. army vet of Vietnam. He worked as an operator for Westlake Polymers. He raised birds, dogs, and plants most of his life. He was a loving husband father and friend who enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

Survivors include his wife Patricia M. Henry of Westlake, LA; daughter Amanda Cruz and her husband Wayne of Westlake; brother, Rodney Joseph Henry Jr. and his wife Sandra of Iota, LA; sister, Deloris Melancon and husband Mahlon of Crowley, LA; granddaughter Bethany Cruz; and three step grandchildren, Stephanie Cruz-Rivera, Tiffanie Cruz-Rivera, and Robert Cruz-Rivera all of Puerto Rico. He was preceded in death by his parents Rodney Joseph Henry Sr. and Elvinia Henry.

His Funeral will be at 10am Monday, April 4, 2011 at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake. Deacon Garrett Caraway will officiate. Visitation is from 11am til 9pm Sunday, April 3, 2011 and Monday at 8am til time of service. Rosary will be prayed 6pm Sunday.
